Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Key Requirements:
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPNs) and network architecture.
Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and other security technologies.
Experience or familiarity with conducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
Skills in identifying, managing, and mitigating security incidents and breaches.
Knowledge of encryption methods and key management.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating tasks or analyzing security issues.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cybersecurity Intern at Netkom, you will be exposed to various aspects of IT security, including:
Assisting in conducting and analyzing vulnerability assessments.
Supporting in managing and mitigating security incidents.
Working closely with the cybersecurity team on identifying and addressing potential security threats.
