Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Procurement Strategy:
  • Create and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, ensuring targeted benefits and financial savings.
• Approval of Purchase Strategies:
  • Oversee and approve category managers’ purchase strategies and savings plans, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
• Process and System Development:
  • Establish and implement new processes and systems to enhance the effectiveness of procurement across the company.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Define and manage key supplier relationships to achieve breakthrough performance in cost, service, and quality.
  • Provide technical input for negotiations on significant contracts and manage third-party service providers.
• Cost-Effective Purchasing Strategies:
  • Develop strategies that optimize the cost-effectiveness of materials purchased for business operations.
• Communication with Management:
  • Regularly update management on the flow of goods and services, ensuring that production is not affected by any disruptions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Educational Background:
  • MBA, B.Sc Engineering, or Master’s in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience:
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Skills:
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and relationship management.
  • Ability to drive cost savings while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
