As the General Manager Accounts, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Overseeing Financial Operations: Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and industry standards.
Strategic Financial Planning: Contribute to the development of financial strategies and long-term planning, aligning financial goals with business objectives.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to ensure effective performance, accurate reporting, and adherence to best practices.
Cost Management & Analysis: Oversee cost control measures, monitor expenses, and recommend strategies to optimize costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and help the company achieve its financial targets.
Audit & Risk Management: Supervise internal audits, manage risk assessments, and ensure the company’s financial integrity.
Education:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is required. Additional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CMA would be a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the textile industry or a similar manufacturing sector.
Skills:
Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record in accounting and finance.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
