Role Overview:

The Finance Executive will play a crucial role in the finance department, primarily focusing on tax-related responsibilities. This position is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax statements, handling withholding tax deposits, and assisting with tax audits. The role also includes maintaining accurate tax records, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and applying knowledge of tax regulations to various transactions and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns and tax statements accurately and on time.

• Withholding Tax: Manage withholding tax deposits and ensure proper filing and documentation.

• Tax Audits: Prepare working files for tax audits and support tax audit processes.

• Tax Law Compliance: Ensure the correct application of tax laws for business transactions and financial reporting.

• Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive tax records and documents for internal and external reviews.

• Communication and Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams and assist with communication on financial matters. Provide reports and updates as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Requirements:

  • B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) from a recognized university.

  • Part-qualified CA/ACMA/ACCA are also acceptable.

• Experience:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably in a professional firm or industry, with a strong focus on tax-related tasks.

• Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of tax laws and their application.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
