Position Title: Executive – Raw Material Store/Inventory
Department: Store & Inventory Management
Location: SITE Area, Karachi
Employment Type: Full-time
As an Executive – Raw Material Store/Inventory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, issuance, and accurate recording of raw materials, crucial for uninterrupted production processes.
Your primary duties will include:
Receiving and Verification:
Receive, inspect, and verify raw materials (wood, boards, hardware, foam, fabric, chemicals) against purchase orders.
Maintain complete documentation for all incoming materials.
ERP and Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate system entries (inbound and outbound) in ERP or inventory software.
Submit daily Goods Receipt Inspection Notes (GRIN) to the PPMC department for received goods.
Stock Organization and Storage:
Systematically store raw materials using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and 5S principles.
Ensure organized and accessible storage to facilitate efficient retrieval and issuance.
Inventory Monitoring:
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring that minimum and maximum thresholds are maintained to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Conduct monthly physical and system-based stock audits.
Production Support:
Prepare daily demand notes based on Production Demand Notes (PDNs).
Issue raw materials to production as per Material Requisition Slips (MRS), with complete documentation and timely delivery.
Arrange and supply customized materials based on daily sales order requirements.
Reporting:
Track stock levels and prepare Monthly Review Meeting (MRM) reports.
Education:
Minimum Graduation, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience:
3 to 4 years of relevant experience in a store/inventory management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management practices like FIFO and 5S.
Proficiency in ERP systems or inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to manage stock accurately and meet production timelines.
Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
