Qarshi Industries (PVT.) Ltd., a leading company in the FMCG sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive/Assistant Manager for Quality Assurance. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the food and medicine divisions.


Job Summary:

As an Executive/Assistant Manager Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities within the Food/Medicine Division and related stores. Your role will involve conducting in-process tests, ensuring sanitation procedures, verifying batch information, and performing quality checks to ensure the production process adheres to the highest industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor QA Activities: Oversee all quality assurance processes in the Food/Medicine Division and relevant stores, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards.

  • In-Process Testing: Perform and record in-process tests and checks to ensure products meet required specifications.

  • Sanitation & Safety: Ensure proper sanitation, disinfection, and fumigation activities are conducted in all concerned areas as per requirements.

  • Line Clearance Verification: Verify line clearance when required to ensure the quality of production.

  • Daily Reporting: Share daily observations with the department head, providing clear insights into the production process.

  • Batch Information Verification: Verify and ensure the correct printing of batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and other critical information on packaging materials.

  • GMP Compliance: Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed and verify accuracy and traceability of all production records.

  • Batch Release: Sign off on each batch release report and maintain proper SAP data entry and result recording in inspection lots.

  • Document Handling: Collect and compile batch/product-related documents from production and QC teams for batch release.

  • Collaboration with Dispatch Store: Coordinate with the dispatch store to ensure timely release of production batches.


Education & Experience Required:

  • Education: Pharm-D with relevant certifications in quality assurance.

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing Quality Assurance activities within a food/medicine manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Quality Systems: Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Communication & Training Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to train and lead team members effectively.

  • People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with high energy and a positive cultural fit.
