As the Deputy Manager Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for greige fabric, yarn, coal, and accessories. You will need to ensure fabric availability, evaluate market pricing trends, and monitor stock levels. You will play a vital role in overseeing quality inspections, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring the timely dispatch of materials to meet production demands.
End-to-End Procurement & Supply Chain Operations: Manage procurement processes for greige fabric, yarn, coal, and accessories, ensuring the availability of materials and on-time delivery.
Market Evaluation: Evaluate market trends and pricing, especially for greige fabric, and stay updated on industry developments.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely dispatch of materials to the production team.
Quality Control: Oversee quality inspections to ensure materials meet the required standards and specifications.
Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless flow of materials and prevent delays.
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the textile sector.
Education: BSc in Textile Engineering or a related field.
Procurement Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, especially in the textile industry.
Market Awareness: Ability to analyze market trends and assess fabric pricing.
Inventory Management: Proficiency in managing stock levels and ensuring timely deliveries.
Quality Assurance: Attention to detail in ensuring the quality of materials and products.
