Job Overview:
As the Deputy Manager for our Ethnic Unstitched division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production targets are met according to the established plans. Your responsibilities will include verifying daily induction plans, supervising process flows, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execution of Production Plans: Oversee and execute planning to meet production targets. Ensure that all processes align with the given production plans.
Daily Induction Plan Verification: Verify daily induction plans according to Production Planning and Control (PPC) and arrange necessary accessories ahead of time.
Supervision of Process Flows: Supervise all process flows to ensure they meet the required standards and timelines.
Cost Estimation and Accessories Management: Check cost estimation and generate SIR (Stock Issue Requisition) for accessories.
Inter-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with PPC, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Fabrication, SAP, and Finance departments to execute daily plans efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should have:
Strong Knowledge of Eastern Fabric: A deep understanding of the characteristics and requirements of Eastern fabrics.
ERP Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, to manage production and resource planning effectively.
MS Office Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for documentation and reporting.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in the textile industry, with a focus on ethnic and unstitched fabrics.
