Job Purpose:

The Deputy Manager – HR will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing HR strategies to support the company’s growth and success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Employee Engagement & HR Initiatives:
    Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance the work environment and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • HR Policies & Compliance:
    Create and ensure compliance with HR policies, as well as labor laws and regulations.
  • Talent Management & Training:
    Support talent management, develop training programs, and help with employee development plans.
  • Payroll & Compensation:
    Lead payroll processes, oversee compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent, and collaborate with department heads to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead employee engagement initiatives.
  • Implement and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance.
  • Oversee payroll processes and compensation/benefits programs.
  • Design and implement training and development programs.
  • Support talent management strategies, including recruitment, retention, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR practices with business goals.
  • Ensure smooth HR communication across the organization.
  • Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts in alignment with company policies.

Job Specifications:

  • Education:
    Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Experience:
    5-7 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in the retail fashion industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
