Engro Energy, via its subsidiary Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC), is currently recruiting a seasoned Deputy Manager – Audit for its Karachi Head Office. This key role offers an exciting opportunity for mid-level auditors to advance their careers within Pakistan’s leading energy sector.

As a pivotal member of the Internal Audit team, you will oversee execution of audit plans, risk evaluations, and compliance checks. Your role is instrumental in ensuring internal controls, process efficiency, and strategic budget oversight.
Execute the annual internal audit plan, including system reviews and business process audits
Conduct risk assessments, spot-checks, and follow-up audits to track issue resolution
Assist with budget preparation and contribute to Board Audit Committee (BAC) reporting
Provide advisory services to teams for enhancing internal control mechanisms
Lead training sessions and awareness workshops on audit protocols
Conduct investigations into compliance breaches or financial irregularities
CA or ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years of experience in audit or internal controls
CISA certification is preferred and will be an added advantage
Demonstrated experience in risk-based auditing and internal review
Strong ability to manage audit engagements independently and present findings to senior management
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
Familiarity with frameworks like COSO, COBIT, and relevant industry regulations and controls
