💼 Position Overview

  • Position Title: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (Industrial Relations)

📋 Key Responsibilities

As Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (Industrial Relations), you will be responsible for:

  • Industrial Relations:

    • Manage employee relations, ensuring a cordial working environment at the plant.

    • Foster positive communication between management and the workforce.

    • Resolve labor disputes and grievances in an effective and lawful manner.

    • Engage and liaise with trade unions and workers’ representatives when required.

  • Social Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and social standards.

    • Conduct periodic audits to assess social compliance within the organization.

    • Maintain updated documentation related to labor laws and workplace practices.

  • Coordination with Civil Authorities:

    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with local civil authorities.

    • Handle regulatory inspections, reporting, and correspondence efficiently.

  • Policy Implementation:

    • Assist in formulating and implementing HR policies related to labor management, workplace discipline, and employee engagement.

    • Provide training and awareness programs related to social compliance and labor laws.

  • Reporting:

    • Prepare reports and updates for management regarding employee relations status, compliance matters, and operational improvements.


🎓 Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • BBA (Hons) or MBA in HR or related field.

    • Candidates with an additional Law Degree (LLB/LLM) will be preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience handling:

      • Industrial relations

      • Labor laws compliance

      • Social compliance audits

      • Coordination with civil authorities
