As the Deputy General Manager – Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing internal controls, and supporting treasury functions. The role will involve overseeing the accounts team, preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, ensuring compliance with tax and legal regulations, and driving financial analysis for strategic decisions like business expansion and capital investments.

Financial Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounting operations including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP)/Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting.
Treasury and Cashflow Management: Supervise the treasury functions and contribute to cashflow planning and liquidity management.
Financial Reporting: Ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
Compliance & Taxation: Ensure compliance with tax laws, legal regulations, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits.
Digital Finance Transformation: Evaluate and contribute to the optimization of ERP systems and digital finance transformation initiatives.
Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights to support business expansion, cost reduction initiatives, and capital investment decisions.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualified ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in progressively senior accounting roles, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Ideally, candidates should have experience in the textile or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS), taxation laws, and ERP systems.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management.
Experience with treasury functions and cashflow planning.
