The Customer Relation Officer (CRO) will be responsible for assisting patients and their attendants during the admission process. You will play an important role in ensuring that all administrative and financial aspects of patient admission are carried out smoothly, while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor.
Cash Collection & Admissions:
Collect advance payments from attendants for room categories, day care procedures, and other services. Provide clear information about the costs involved.
Data Entry & Record Keeping:
Input all patient information into the hospital’s computer system and maintain accurate records in the passbook and floor register.
Shifting & Case Management:
Maintain a daily shifting register and ensure proper patient shifting. Keep track of all patient transfers and ensure the information is well-documented.
Shift Handover:
Properly hand over duties to the next shift, ensuring a seamless transition of responsibilities.
Administrative Support:
Maintain case sheet covers and ensure that all necessary stationary items for patient affairs are requested and issued.
Records Management:
Hold and manage all registers for up to six months, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel or hospital setting, preferably in a similar or equivalent position.
Computer Handling: Ability to manage patient data and work with hospital management software.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English. Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work independently in the absence of colleagues and handle duties efficiently.
Personal Traits: Energetic, cooperative, punctual, responsible, and well-groomed.
