Soneri Bank is currently hiring for the position of Credit Risk Analyst in their Credit Division. The role involves reviewing credit proposals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with the management of credit risk for the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Reviewing Credit Proposals: Ensure that all credit proposals align with SBP regulations, bank policies, and procedures.

• Timely Disposal of Proposals: Ensure that credit proposals are processed and disposed of within the predefined turnaround time (TAT).

• Reporting: Submit periodic reports to SBP and other relevant authorities.

• Workload Management: Assist the Unit Head of Credit in effectively managing workloads to minimize delays and improve efficiency.

• Adherence to Policies: Ensure that all activities comply with the bank’s control, ethical standards, and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify for the position, the following criteria must be met:

• Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Up to 6 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, risk management, or related roles in the banking sector.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SBP regulations, credit assessment processes, and banking policies.

  • Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external authorities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
