📌 Key Responsibilities

As a Credit Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the credit risk portfolio for Islamic banking clients. Your responsibilities will include:

📂 Credit Proposal Management

• Supervise the preparation of credit proposals for both new and existing customers.

• Ensure proposals are prepared timely and comply with Soneri Bank’s credit risk framework.

💼 Credit Monitoring & Risk Mitigation

• Monitor outstanding credit/loan balances and verify application of correct markup rates.

• Ensure timely markup recovery and implement checks to prevent defaults or bad debts.

🛡️ Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure pre-disbursement formalities are completed and all required documents are in order.

• Monitor post-disbursement reviews and customer follow-ups in accordance with SBP and Soneri Bank’s policies.

• Guarantee safe custody of legal/security documents linked to credit facilities.

📊 Reporting & Coordination

• Track the submission of key reports to:

  • Regional Offices

  • General Manager’s Office

  • Central Operations Karachi (COK)

✅ Candidate Profile

Soneri Bank is seeking individuals who are:

• Experienced in credit assessment, particularly in Islamic Banking.

• Familiar with SBP prudential regulations, financial documentation, and collateral handling.
