Position Overview:

Pepsi Northern Bottling Company (Pvt) Ltd. is currently seeking a Compressor Room Operator to join their team in Peshawar. This critical role involves the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the air compressors, ammonia, and CO2 plants. The Compressor Room Operator will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of equipment to meet plant demands, reducing energy waste, and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Monitoring:

  • Operate and monitor high-pressure (HP) and low-pressure (LP) compressors and associated equipment.

  • Ensure the optimal pressure, temperature, and flow rates to meet the production plant’s requirements.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Regularly inspect and maintain the compressor systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently.

  • Identify and repair air leaks to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.

• Data Analysis:

  • Record and analyze operational data, identifying any irregularities and taking corrective actions as necessary.

  • Monitor energy consumption of compressors and suggest improvements to reduce waste.

• Compliance with Procedures:

  • Execute startup and shutdown procedures strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards during daily operations.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:

  • A DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering.

• Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry, with a focus on compressor and plant operations.

• Skills Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of air compressors and related equipment.

  • Ability to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.

  • Knowledge of energy optimization and leak identification to enhance system efficiency.

  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
