Position Overview: Officer – Centralized Clearing Unit (CCU)

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution

Key Responsibilities

As an Officer in the CCU, you’ll play a critical role in managing and validating financial transactions, ensuring smooth and accurate processing. Key responsibilities include:

• Processing Inward Clearing Instruments: Accurately handling inward clearing checks and other instruments to facilitate seamless banking operations.
• Transaction Reconciliation: Performing daily reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies in transactions.
• Branch & Bank Coordination: Collaborating with other branches and banking institutions to ensure efficient cheque processing.
• Regulatory Compliance: Staying up-to-date with and adhering to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Utilizing Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications to manage data and produce reports.
• Strong Communication: Ensuring effective verbal and written communication across teams and with clients when needed.
