In 1993,Tri-Pack started its operations with one plant having a capacity to produce 5,400 tonnes finished BOPP film per annum. To meet the rising demand of the country and to cater customer needs efficiently in time, the Company decided to go into expansion and added another line of BOPP film in 2001, thus increasing the installed capacity to manufacture BOPP film from 5,400 tonnes to 10,800 tonnes annually. Position: Assistant Manager Production Planning
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to support business objectives and meet targets while adhering to quality standards.
- Coordinate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and timely delivery of finished goods.
- Efficiently schedule production activities to maximize productivity, minimize costs, and reduce wastage.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure availability of non-finished goods materials.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in supply chain management principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience with SAP modules (MRP, PP & MM) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and basic financial acumen.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
