The Assistant Manager – Salaries will play a crucial role in managing and executing end-to-end payroll operations for LCI’s employees. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, tax laws, and employee benefits administration. The incumbent will ensure timely salary disbursements, accuracy of deductions, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Administer the monthly payroll process, ensuring salaries are processed accurately and on time.
Ensure correct application of deductions such as tax, provident fund, loans, and other withholdings.
Maintain up-to-date records of employee compensation, allowances, and benefits.
Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to align payroll data with company accounts.
Manage salary-related compliance reporting including tax submissions, provident fund statements, and audit requests.
Address employee queries regarding salary, deductions, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
Implement best practices for salary disbursement and payroll system optimization.
Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field). Master’s degree or payroll certifications will be a plus.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing payroll or salaries administration within a structured corporate or industrial setup.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in payroll software/systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and employee benefit schemes in Pakistan.
Advanced MS Excel skills for payroll analytics and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
