Position: Assistant Manager Operations – Shift Engineer

Job Description: As an Assistant Manager Operations (Shift Engineer) at Nishat Chunian Ltd., you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring, controlling, and supervising operational activities of the coal power plant.
- Performing root cause analysis of incidents and developing reports accordingly.
- Planning and preparing maintenance jobs during planned shutdowns.
- Ensuring safe startup and shutdown of the plant according to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Handling emergency incidents to ensure human, equipment, and process safety.
- Overseeing equipment for maintenance activities and issuing Permit to Work (PTW) as necessary.
- Assessing, training, and developing operations and training staff.
Person Specifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a coal-based power plant environment.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) or related field.
- Prior working knowledge of first-class boilers would be advantageous.
