Nishat Chunian Group is a leading conglomerate committed to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our NCL Coal Power department as an Assistant Manager Instrument and Control.
Job Description:
As an Assistant Manager Instrument and Control, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in our coal-based power plant. Your duties will include:
- Managing the maintenance of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Transmitter Control Systems (TCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Vibration Monitoring Systems (VMS), and other control systems.
- Ordering instrument spares as needed and ensuring timely availability.
- Overseeing the maintenance of field equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Planning and implementing preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance activities as required.
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), instructions, and checklists for maintenance and operation.
- Ensuring the safe startup and shutdown of the plant in accordance with approved SOPs.
- Researching and implementing modifications in DCS to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Person Specifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electronics/Control/Instrumentation).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a coal-based power plant.
