Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing Ledgerwise’s financial operations. Your duties will include:

  • Financial Management: Supervise and manage financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Accounts Oversight: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in tax preparation and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Support financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting, while providing data-driven insights.
  • Audit Support: Prepare documentation and ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency within the accounting department.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide financial insights to support business objectives across departments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: ACCA qualified or an equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role within accounting or finance.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
    • Analytical acumen with a sharp eye for detail.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor teams effectively.
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
