The Assistant Manager Costing will play a crucial role in managing the costing and financial analysis activities, helping the company improve cost efficiency and maintain profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in finance and accounting, specifically related to cost management, and will be responsible for developing cost strategies, performing financial analysis, and ensuring financial compliance.
Cost Analysis: Monitor and evaluate cost structures within the organization, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring cost-effective operations.
Costing Reports: Prepare and analyze regular cost reports, presenting findings to management and providing actionable insights.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate projection of costs and revenues for strategic decision-making.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory costing, ensuring proper stock valuation, and accurate cost allocation.
Internal Controls: Support the implementation of internal controls related to costing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Production, and Finance) to optimize costs across the organization.
Audit Support: Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing cost-related queries.
Education: Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualification will be given preference.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced industry such as food and beverage, retail, or manufacturing.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of costing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial analysis and cost management tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
