Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Academics, you will:
- Implement Academic Calendars: Ensure the smooth execution of the academic calendar in line with BIC’s policies and its international partners.
- Coordinate Semester Timetables: Develop and implement detailed timetables for each semester.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison to communicate program updates and changes to students and staff.
- Oversee Teaching Materials: Ensure all teaching materials are uploaded to Scholastic (Virtual Learning Environment – VLE) by the teaching staff.
- Verification Processes: Manage Internal Verification and External Verification processes for Pearson degree programs.
- Enhance Student Learning: Collaborate with various departments to elevate the student learning experience.
- General Duties: Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Head of Academics.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is essential.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in academic or educational management is required.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with academic processes and learning management systems (e.g., VLE).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
