Key Responsibilities:
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the sales of chemical products within your designated region. The role combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen to ensure that client needs are met, and business targets are achieved. Responsibilities include:
Client Engagement & Sales: Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing technical support where necessary to explain product features and benefits.
Techno-Commercial Strategy: Use your technical expertise in chemistry or chemical engineering to develop effective sales strategies and solutions tailored to client needs.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to identify potential customers, assess competitors, and evaluate market trends to position the company’s products effectively.
Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving sales targets set for your area, ensuring sustainable business growth.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the company’s product offerings and innovations, ensuring clients receive the latest solutions.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, production, and R&D, to ensure that client demands are met efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
Education: B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant techno-commercial experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
Skills:
Strong understanding of chemical products and their commercial applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
