Position Overview:

The Area Sales Manager – Liabilities will be responsible for leading and managing a team of liability sales professionals. The role involves ensuring the achievement of sales targets, driving productivity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory directives. The successful candidate will also play a key role in mentoring and developing the sales team, optimizing resource utilization, and contributing to the growth of the bank’s liabilities portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development:

    • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of liability sales professionals to ensure high performance and productivity.

    • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team to help them achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Responsible for achieving the team’s liability sales targets, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

    • Monitor the performance of the team and take necessary actions to meet goals.

  • Resource Optimization:

    • Drive productivity by ensuring the optimum utilization of available resources.

    • Implement strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the sales team and resources.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure that all sales activities and processes adhere to regulatory directives and internal policies.

    • Maintain a high level of compliance with all banking regulations, ensuring risk mitigation.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized institute.

  • Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) in Branch Banking.

    • At least 2 years of experience as a Branch Manager (BM) or in a leadership role with direct reports.
