Position Overview:
The Area Sales Manager – Liabilities will be responsible for leading and managing a team of liability sales professionals. The role involves ensuring the achievement of sales targets, driving productivity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory directives. The successful candidate will also play a key role in mentoring and developing the sales team, optimizing resource utilization, and contributing to the growth of the bank’s liabilities portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

Lead, develop, and mentor a team of liability sales professionals to ensure high performance and productivity.

Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team to help them achieve individual and team sales targets.

Sales Target Achievement:

Responsible for achieving the team’s liability sales targets, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

Monitor the performance of the team and take necessary actions to meet goals.

Resource Optimization:

Drive productivity by ensuring the optimum utilization of available resources.

Implement strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the sales team and resources.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all sales activities and processes adhere to regulatory directives and internal policies.

Maintain a high level of compliance with all banking regulations, ensuring risk mitigation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized institute.

Experience:
-
3-5 years of experience as a Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) in Branch Banking.

At least 2 years of experience as a Branch Manager (BM) or in a leadership role with direct reports.
