Lucky Core Industries is looking for an Area Manager to oversee operations within the poultry division. The Area Manager will be responsible for managing the performance of poultry farms, implementing strategies for improvement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Farm Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of poultry farms, ensuring that all activities are conducted according to best practices and company standards.
Health & Safety: Ensure the health and well-being of the poultry stock by monitoring their conditions, and making sure that health protocols and vaccination schedules are followed.
Quality Control: Implement strategies to maintain product quality, ensuring the standards for meat and eggs are met in line with industry regulations.
Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of farm workers, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient farm operations.
Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and offering technical advice related to poultry management.
Reports & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of farm activities, including feeding schedules, production rates, and financial performance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in farm processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity and profitability.
Education:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Sciences.
Experience:
1 to 2 years of professional experience in the poultry sector, with practical exposure to farm management and poultry health.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of poultry management practices, animal health, and disease control.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and come up with efficient solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with farm staff, clients, and management.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
