About the Role:

max RECRUITMENT is hiring an experienced After Sales Manager for a prestigious role in the Motor Industry. This position is integral to overseeing all post-sale activities including service, parts, and warranty management. The goal is to improve customer satisfaction, enhance retention rates, and optimize operational efficiency, all while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

As an After Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Dealer Support & Aftersales Operations:

    • Coordinate and oversee dealer activities to ensure aftersales service operations run smoothly.

  2. Warranty Adjudication & Compliance:

    • Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

  3. Technical Guidance & Support:

    • Provide technical support and guidance to teams, ensuring proper service and repairs.

  4. Training & Development Coordination:

    • Organize and manage training programs for the aftersales team to ensure high performance.

  5. Key Account Management & Customer Relations:

    • Manage key customer accounts and foster long-lasting relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.

  6. Parts Support & Inventory Management:

    • Oversee parts supply and inventory to ensure availability and reduce service delays.

  7. Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

    • Prepare regular reports on aftersales performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.

  8. Regional Aftersales Strategy & Business Development:

    • Develop and implement regional strategies to drive aftersales business growth and operational efficiency.

  9. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage the aftersales team, ensuring high levels of motivation and productivity.

  10. Process Improvement & Financial Management:

    • Continually assess and improve aftersales processes. Ensure financial goals are met, and business activities are compliant with financial policies.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Grade 12/Matric and a tertiary managerial qualification. A Technical Trade Certificate is also required.

    • Unendorsed Driver’s License.

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Commercial Service/Aftersales Management or a related role.

    • Strong knowledge of automotive service, parts, and warranty processes.


Skills & Traits:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence (EQ) for effective team and client management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette.

  • Strong comprehension and reasoning skills.
