Position Overview:

As the Accounts Officer, you will play a critical role in the management and optimization of financial processes across various functions. Your responsibilities will include budget preparation, cost analysis, variance reporting, and overseeing the accounts payable process to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Lead the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and forecasts, ensuring they align with operational requirements.

    • Collaborate with different departments to gather the necessary data and information for accurate financial planning.

  • Cost Analysis & Optimization:

    • Perform detailed cost analysis to support operational decision-making and optimize costs.

    • Provide insights and recommendations for improving cost efficiency and ensuring financial goals are met.

  • Accounts Payable Management:

    • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and timely.

    • Verify Purchase Orders, Material Receipt Reports, and vendor invoices.

    • Ensure compliance with the company’s authority matrix during voucher processing and vendor payment approvals.

  • Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and deliver variance reports to management, highlighting deviations from budgets and forecasts.

    • Ensure the financial records are up-to-date, compliant with regulations, and provide transparency to senior management.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • CA Finalist, ACCA, ICMA, or MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the mining or manufacturing industry.

  • Skills Required:

    • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.

    • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
