🎯 Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, managing financial reconciliations, and coordinating across departments for seamless tax reporting. Core responsibilities include:

• Tax Statement Submissions: Prepare and submit quarterly withholding statements for all group companies

• Certificate Verification: Cross-check withholding tax certificates from vendors for accuracy and legitimacy

• Salary Tax Compliance: Ensure timely deduction and deposit of employee salary taxes each month

• Advance Tax Management: Monitor the collection and deposit of advance tax from distributors and retailers

• Department Coordination: Collaborate with Key Account Managers and MIS teams for tax calculation accuracy

• Sales Tax Filings: Submit monthly sales tax returns and reconcile with purchase invoices using SAP

• Inter-Department Liaison: Engage with Accounts Payable, Procurement, and vendors for any tax-related matters

• Regulatory Submissions:

  • File Annex-E (Excisable Sales) and Annex-J (Stock Position) monthly

  • Compile sales, purchase, and tax data for tax and FED payments

• Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile input/output ledgers for Sales Tax and FED with financial records

• SAP Implementation: Execute updates in SAP based on tax law amendments (e.g., Sales Tax, FED, further tax)

• Regulatory Compliance: Prepare working documentation for tax notices and ensure compliance with tax authorities

• Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as directed by the Group Manager Taxation

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Required Education:

• MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ACCA

Experience:

• 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in taxation, finance, or accounting, preferably within a structured corporate setup

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of withholding tax, sales tax, and FED laws

• Experience with SAP for financial reporting and tax submissions

• Competence in working with general ledger reconciliations and data accuracy checks

• Proficient in Excel and financial documentation tools

• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
