As an Officer / Senior Officer in Continuous Audit, you will partner with business units to embed audit activities into daily processes. You’ll review transactional data, flag exceptions, and work proactively with stakeholders to close control weaknesses before they escalate.
Real-Time Data Monitoring:
Use audit-analytics software to monitor key risk indicators and transaction flows across retail and corporate portfolios.
Generate exception reports for review.
Control Testing & Validation:
Design and execute automated test scripts to validate compliance with policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
Document findings and assess control effectiveness.
Issue Management & Follow-Up:
Communicate audit findings promptly to process owners.
Track remediation actions to closure, ensuring timely resolution.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with process owners to recommend enhancements that strengthen controls and streamline operations.
Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards showcasing audit results, trends, and risk-heat maps for senior management.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
Officer: 1–3 years in internal audit, finance control, or a related assurance role.
Senior Officer: 4–6 years with demonstrated expertise in audit analytics, risk assessment, or compliance.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, or audit-analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, or Tableau).
Understanding of risk and control frameworks (COSO, COBIT).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent communication in English and Urdu/Roman Urdu.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive issues to resolution.
Location: Must be based in—or willing to relocate to—Lahore.
