Position Overview:

The Manager/AVP – Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all branch operations, ensuring the achievement of sales and recovery targets, and leading the team towards delivering high performance. This role also involves managing branch financial activities, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the compliance and regulatory requirements are met. The role is pivotal in the effective operation of HBFC’s branch, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Branch Operations Management:

  • Lead and manage all operations of the branch.

  • Ensure the achievement of sales targets, recovery objectives, and operational goals.

• Financing Case Evaluation:

  • Evaluate and finalize financing cases for credit committee approvals.

• Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Team Leadership:

  • Drive team performance by providing regular feedback, evaluations, and training.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the branch.

• Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure timely reporting of branch activities to the central office.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and audit resolutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years) degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in branch management, preferably in the financial or banking sector.

• Age Limit:

  • Candidates should be 45 years or younger.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Expertise in managing financial operations and achieving sales and recovery targets.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance in the financial sector.

• Proficiency in financial reporting and handling audits.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
