Position Overview:

Beaconhouse International College is hiring an Assistant Professor / Lecturer in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in line with the college’s strategy, contributing to innovative practices in teaching, and engaging in research activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Academic Delivery:

  • Provide efficient and effective teaching to students in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence courses.

  • Ensure that the delivery of the course content aligns with the college’s academic practices and goals.

  • Create and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

• Research and Development:

  • Contribute to the college’s research activities, particularly in AI and computer science fields.

  • Encourage students to engage in innovative and cutting-edge research projects.

• Curriculum Development:

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of course material and academic programs.

  • Ensure that the courses are up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Student Mentorship:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering academic growth and supporting their research interests.

  • Engage with students both inside and outside the classroom to provide academic support.

• Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience at the college.

  • Contribute to the development of new ideas, teaching strategies, and innovations in the field of AI and computer science.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.

  • Ph.D. Scholars or Master’s in a relevant field with a strong academic background may also be considered.

• Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of teaching experience in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.

  • Experience in research is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

• Subject Matter Expertise:
  A deep understanding of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, with the ability to teach complex topics effectively.

• Research Skills:
  Strong background in research and the ability to guide students in academic and applied AI projects.

• Teaching Skills:
  Proven track record of teaching excellence, with the ability to deliver lectures and academic content effectively.

• Collaboration and Teamwork:
  Ability to work with other faculty members and contribute to the academic goals of the institution.

• Communication Skills:
  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with students and colleagues effectively.
