About the Role:

Beaconhouse, a renowned education provider, is currently hiring a SEN Teacher (Special Educational Needs Teacher) for its campuses in Lahore and Faisalabad. This role is ideal for passionate educators with expertise in psychology, speech and language therapy, special education, or remedial therapy. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored educational support to students with special needs, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personalized Instruction:
  Design and implement specialized teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs of students with learning disabilities and special needs.

• Child Psychology and Behavior Management:
  Apply advanced knowledge of child psychology to understand students’ emotional and cognitive development. Use effective behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.

• Curriculum Adaptation:
  Adapt and modify the curriculum to make it accessible for students with special needs. Implement specific intervention programs to help students reach their potential.

• Engagement and Learning Strategies:
  Use various instructional design approaches to engage students effectively. Create a dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere that encourages students’ participation and development.

• Collaboration and Support:
  Work closely with other teachers, parents, and the school’s administrative team to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for students.

• Assessment and Reporting:
  Regularly assess students’ progress and provide detailed reports to the management and parents. Track their development and identify areas where additional support may be needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Special Education, or Remedial Therapy.

• Professional Experience:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable institution, working with children with special needs or learning disabilities.

Core Knowledge & Skills:

• Child Psychology:
  A deep understanding of child psychology to address emotional, cognitive, and behavioral issues.

• Special Needs & Learning Disabilities:
  Knowledge of special education needs, including specific learning disabilities and challenges that students face in a traditional classroom setting.

• Educational Methodology:
  Familiarity with intervention programs, instructional design techniques, and strategies to create a positive impact on learning.

• Behavior Management:
  Proficiency in various behavior management techniques to ensure a productive and respectful classroom environment.

• MS Office Proficiency:
  Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for administrative purposes, record-keeping, and reporting.
