BDO is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager – Risk Advisory Services (RAS) / Internal Audit to join their Karachi team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong background in risk advisory and internal audit who are looking to build a long-term career in the profession.
As an Assistant Manager in Risk Advisory Services/Internal Audit, you will be responsible for providing leadership, managing multiple assignments, and ensuring that BDO’s high-quality standards and risk management procedures are adhered to. You will build strong relationships with senior-level clients, guide junior staff, and actively contribute to the development of the firm’s risk management strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients at senior levels, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
Supervision and Assignment Management:
Supervise multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality work. Manage overlaps between assignments to streamline processes.
Leadership and Staff Development:
Provide leadership, guidance, and counseling to junior staff members, actively supporting their professional growth through continuous assessment and development.
Risk Management & Quality Control:
Ensure adherence to BDO’s risk management and quality control procedures on all assignments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Punctual & Proactive:
Must be a self-starter, able to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Fluency in English:
Both written and spoken communication skills should be strong for effective reporting and client interaction.
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrate the ability to manage and guide a team, as well as build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with senior executives and teams efficiently.
Teamwork:
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for creating reports, presentations, and documentation.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Professional Qualifications:
CA/ACCA/ICMA (or equivalent).
Experience:
At least 3+ years of post-qualification experience, including articles and working in a reputable firm offering Risk Advisory or Internal Audit services.
