About the Role

The Tax Supervisor will play a critical role in supporting the tax team with preparation, review, and filing of tax documents, ensuring full compliance with Pakistan’s tax regulations. This role involves managing both direct and indirect tax compliance and working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.

Job Location

• Karachi, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file tax returns for individuals, Associations of Persons (AOP), and companies

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including responding to tax notices and audits

• File monthly sales tax returns on behalf of clients

• Handle filing of quarterly withholding tax statements and advance tax statements

• Ensure compliance with local and national tax laws and regulations

• Liaise with tax authorities and clients for smooth resolution of tax matters

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate or Master’s degree; Law degree is a plus

• Qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CA, or ICMA professional

• Completed articles and/or 2-3 years of relevant tax experience in a firm or law firm

• At least 1 year post-articles experience in tax compliance and advisory

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s tax laws, including direct and indirect taxes

• Proficient in IRIS (Pakistan’s online tax portal) and MS Office applications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction

• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
