About the Role

As a Senior Accountant at ProPact, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions focusing on UK-based accounts and compliance. Your expertise will contribute directly to the financial health of clients and ProPact’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate records and ledgers.

• Perform bank and control accounts reconciliations efficiently.

• Review and prepare year-end journal entries.

• Manage corporation tax, income tax, and VAT calculations and reporting in accordance with UK regulations.

• Lead and manage teams, guiding junior accountants and ensuring quality output.

• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and statutory requirements.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting and tax needs.

• Support audit and financial reporting processes.

Candidate Requirements

• ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified.

• Minimum 2-3 years of UK-based accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax, VAT, and their impact on accounts and client affairs.

• Proven ability to lead and manage teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient with UK accounting standards and regulations.
