MG Motors, a renowned name in the automotive industry since 1924, is inviting applications for the position of Deputy Manager – Logistics (Supply Chain & Commercial) at their Lahore office. Experience: 6-8 years in logistics operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
Key Responsibilities
Import Documentation & LC Matters: Oversee all aspects of import documentation, letter of credit (LC) processing, and coordination with freight forwarders.
Customs Clearance: Manage and ensure compliance with customs regulations for imported CKD auto parts.
EDB Compliance: Maintain adherence to SROs and Engineering Development Board (EDB) reporting requirements.
Logistics Operations: Efficiently manage logistics operations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Best Practices: Implement and promote best logistics practices and principles across the supply chain.
Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate effectively with transport and logistics providers to optimize costs and performance.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of INCO terms and local laws.
Proficiency in regulatory compliance and logistics regulations.
Excellent coordination and negotiation abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
